Pocket size with black leatherette covers. 1918 dated and includes a hand inscribed dedication “From the Presbyterian S.S. (Social Services?) , Enid (Oklahoma)As a reminder of our appreciation of your long and faithful service, F.W. Buttrey, Sup.”. Mister Buttrey was a Grocer in the town of Enid, Oklahoma and recorded in a 1906 editioon of the Railroad Trainman`s journal. Covers show a bit of wear but overall good – binding fine. I would imagine Mr. Buttrey furnished the Bibles for presentation to troops either leaving for oversees or coming back home. Nice WWI personal item with some researchable background.
