Philip Weiss Auctions in conjunction with Gary Sohmers will be offering rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia at auction April 25, 2010 at his gallery and online including original first printings of some very rare posters by some of the greatest artists of the twentieth century such as Rick Griffin and Stanley Mouse.

Important iconic music posters include the Rick Griffin designed “Flying Eyeball” Jimi Hendrix Fillmore BG105 first printing concert poster along with an unused ticket for the concert, a 1966 Lightnin’ Hopkins at the Matrix in San Francisco concert poster, a 1968 poster for the MC5 in Berkeley CA, a 1966 Yardbirds Fillmore BG33 first printing, picturing Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.
