Santa Clara, CA – March 23, 2010– Anyone who has ever wondered how someone becomes a comic book illustrator or where comic book artists get their inspiration from can find out in a series of interviews featured on Sketch Maven.
Two times a week, every Tuesday and Friday, Sketch Maven will feature a new interview with a comic book artist, ranging from seasoned professionals to a promising new artist. Thus far, the series has included comic book creators like Clifford VanMeter of Valiant Comics, Richard A. Scott of Avatar and Femforce and Dave Dorman of Star Wars and G.I. Joe fame.
“The artist profile interviews are intended to be both entertaining and informative,” said Mike Todasco, founder of Sketch Maven. Fans will have the chance to learn more about how comic illustrators launched their careers, what comic books the artists read, who are the artists’ favorite artists and what their dream projects are.
“We’re excited to add this new content to the breadth of information about original comic art on our website,” adds Todasco. “So far we have had some great interviews and we have many more planned for the coming months.” The Sketch Maven original comic art marketplace launched last November and has a growing community of original comic art buyers and sellers and over 500 fans on Facebook.
