This Auction related blog is run for the benefit of our link exchange members. OK, whats all this about ? it’s just one of the vehicles we use to pull in traffic to give exposure to those member’s auction sites. But also we hope this blog will serve as an handy place to get ideas and tips towards making your auction site a success or finding success on both online and offline auctions.

We say “auction site” but a lot of what you read here will apply to most eCommerce sites. And how about that word success ? what does it mean exactly ? well a quick list might be – more users, more traffic, more revenue.

Our Link Exchange is a great place to start getting noticed. It’s a simple idea really, you are allowed to list your site and contribute to the success of the exchange by placing a reciprocal link on your homepage.

But more importantly to you, from thee directory your site can be available to other sites and offline publishers.  The main thing is this is done for you and the group as an whole.

But, the are many aspects to a successful venture. A few more might be marketing, customer service and housework. The last of those three might be a big surprise to some so let’s explain that we will use the term “housework”. We are talking about all the mundane things that a good site owner will want to keep on top off. Things like optimizing data, clearing out old images and maintaining lists of things that need to be done and when. Things that keep your web site running !
